One site says do in place cleaning using a solvent another site say to remove them then clean them in a special machine. The final site says to just replace them. I go to two mechanics that we trust. We were going to get a new fuel injector but the it started working after I gunned the car. This normal mechanic told me not replace (He already ordered the part). He said since it working you do not need to replace them. This other mechanic I go to. Say he does fuel injector cleaning by flushing ethanol through the injectors. They do disconnect the fuel line. It take them about 20 minutes. Since my first mechanic said not to replace them. Should I have them cleaned or not?
